Electronic Arts has released a new trailer for NHL 09, showcasing the next installment in the NHL series developed by EA Canada. NHL 09 features Be A Pro, a game mode that will put you on the ice with a dynamic new 3rd person camera that allows you to play the role of one player. With a performance tracker grading your progress in more than 50 categories, you will know exactly where you need to improve to become the next NHL superstar. NHL 09 will be available under the EA SPORTS brand this September, for PS3, PS2, PC and Xbox 360.

Atari has announced that N+, the sequel to the flash ninja game N, will hit the store shelves on August 28th, for DS and PSP, priced $19.99. Created by Metanet and developed by SilverBirch Studios, N+ includes cooperative and competitive multiplayer modes and a built-in level editor. N+ is now available now for Xbox 360.

Ubisoft has released a new video for Far Cry 2, the first person shooter sequel in the works at Ubisoft's Montreal studio. You are a gun for hire, trapped in a war-torn African state, stricken with malaria and forced to make deals with corrupt warlords on both sides of the conflict in order to make this country your home. You must identify and exploit your enemies’ weaknesses, neutralizing their superior numbers and firepower with surprise, subversion, cunning and of course brute force. Developed for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360, Far Cry 2 is scheduled to ship this fall.
