Playful Entertainment has announced that Jungle Speed for Wii will be available via WiiWare on January 12th, for 1000 Wii points. In Jungle Speed, players must watch carefully and react quickly. With a jungle character seated comfortably at the game table, players are each dealt a pile of cards. Play starts when the first person flips their card. Moving around the table symbols are revealed until two of the exposed cards match. Players with the matching cards must then scramble to grasp the totem in the middle of the table. The faster player then gives their cards to their unfortunate adversary. With paws flying, the first person to get rid of all their cards wins the game. Check full story for details.

We have a new trailer from Tom Clancy's HAWX (high-altitude warfare), a title set in the Tom Clancy video game universe scheduled to be available in March 2009, for PC, Xbox 360 and PS3. Set in the near future, the game imagines a world where a private military force has accumulated such power that it attacks the USA. Thrust into the cockpits of incredibly powerful and technologically advanced jet fighters, gamers will benefit from hi-tech piloting assistance, providing comfort, security and enhanced perception. As players gain skills and confidence, they will be able to shed the assistance.

Moon LOLA-RR10 Trailer

Mastiff has released a new trailer for Moon, showcasing this game developed by Renegade Kid and scheduled to hit the store shelves on January 13, 2009. In this video Jools Watsham, owner and creative director of Renegade Kid, introduces us to the Low-Gravity Land-Based Reconnaissance and Repulse Vehicle, or more commonly referred to by ETEO operatives as the "LOLA-RR10". Engineered for recon and combat in extraterrestrial environments, the LOLA-RR10 is equipped with a powerful laser cannon capable of penetrating most known armor systems.

The Godfather II Release Date

Electronic Arts also announced that The Godfather II, the action sequel in the works at EA Redwood Stores studio for PC, Xbox 360 and PS3, will be shipping on February 24th in North America and on February 27th in Europe. After being promoted by Michael Corleone to Don of New York, players expand to new cities, as they build up their families through extorting businesses, monopolizing illegal crime rings and defeating new families in an effort to become the most powerful mob family in America. To help players manage their empire, The Godfather II introduces "The Don's View" – an innovative strategy meta-game that allows players to oversee the entire world as they grow the family business. Using the Don's View, players will be able to build, defend and expand their crime rings, while keeping an eye on the movements and plans of the rival families. Players will also learn to master the business of organized crime by building a family of Made Men, hiring crew, handing out orders, and promoting their best men up the ranks.

Command & Conquer Red Alert 3: Uprising Announced and Screens

Electronic Arts today announced Uprising, an expansion for Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3 which takes players into the aftermath of the epic battles in Red Alert 3, with the Soviets still reeling from a crushing defeat, the Empire of the Rising Sun desperately trying to regain both honor and identity and the seemingly victorious Allies finding themselves in the midst of corruption and deceit within their own ranks. In addition to four mini-campaigns, one for each faction and one bonus campaign centered on the origins of the Empire of the Rising Sun's commando Yuriko, Command & Conquer Red Alert 3: Uprising will also introduce the new Commander's Challenge, enabling the players to test their skills against a set of nine commanders from different territories and difficulty levels in 50 unique challenges with their own special rules and unique conditions. Command & Conquer Red Alert 3: Uprising will be available for digital download this March - the first concept art and screens have been inserted in our gallery.

Square Enix and Ubisoft Sign Publishing Deal

Square Enix and Ubisoft today announced they signed a publishing agreement for the Japanese market. Following this agreement, Square Enix will start publishing Ubisoft titles in Japan, beginning with April 2009.
