We have a new movie from Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War II, showcasing this sequel developed by Relic Entertainment and due to hit the store shelves in Spring 2009, exclusively for Windows PC. Powered by an enhanced version of Relic's proprietary Essence Engine 2.0, Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War II will take players to the brutal frontlines of war where they'll experience intense action and visceral combat through a non-linear single player experience and a fully co-operative multiplayer campaign.

Command & Conquer Red Alert 3: Uprising Video Interview

Electronic Arts has released a video interview for Uprising, showcasing this expansion for Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3 which takes players into the aftermath of the epic battles in Red Alert 3, with the Soviets still reeling from a crushing defeat, the Empire of the Rising Sun desperately trying to regain both honor and identity and the seemingly victorious Allies finding themselves in the midst of corruption and deceit within their own ranks. In addition to four mini-campaigns, one for each faction and one bonus campaign centered on the origins of the Empire of the Rising Sun's commando Yuriko, Command & Conquer Red Alert 3: Uprising will also introduce the new Commander's Challenge, enabling the players to test their skills against a set of nine commanders from different territories and difficulty levels in 50 unique challenges with their own special rules and unique conditions. Command & Conquer Red Alert 3: Uprising will be available for digital download this March.

Dark Void CES 2009 Gameplay Trailers

Capcom has released four new gameplay movies from Dark Void, a sci-fi action-adventure game that combines an adrenaline-fuelled blend of aerial and on-foot combat set in a parallel universe called "The Void". Players will take on the role of Will; a pilot dropped into incredible circumstances while on a routine air cargo flight crashes in the Bermuda triangle leading him to be trapped in the Void. This unlikely hero soon finds himself swept into a desperate struggle for survival at the head of a group called The Survivors. Trapped in the Void, these resistance fighters are battling to hold off a mysterious alien race that plans to threaten Earth. In the works at Airtight Games, Dark Void is under development for PC, Xbox 360 and PS3. A release date is still to be announced.

SEGA and Sports Interactive have announced that Football Manager Live, a game in the Football Manager series designed as massively multiplayer online title, is available now via digital download, for PC and Mac. Football Manager Live lets you create and manage your very own football club, choosing your team name, colours, badge, home ground, and also deciding which players to sign from Sports Interactive's famous database of over 330,000 real world footballers. Football Manager Live will be available from 23rd January in stores - a new set of screenshots and a trailer have been added in our download section.

Nickelodeon has announced the launch of a new vertical SpongeBob fan site where fans of all ages around the world can soak up all things SpongeBob. Both adults and kids will find an age-appropriate community, complete with personalized profiles, chat features and playlists; the ability to search for favorite SpongeBob moments or comment on the funniest videos; or a new mini-game every week. Since its launch in July 1999, SpongeBob SquarePants has emerged as a pop-culture phenomenon with 70 million viewers monthly, and has been the number-one animated program with Kids 2-11 for more than seven consecutive years.

Ghostbusters: The Video Game Release Date

Atari announced today that Ghostbusters: The Video Game will hit the store shelves in North America on 16 June 2009 followed by worldwide release on 19 June. Ghostbusters: The Video Game is a title based on the classic films and featuring the original film cast, Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Harold Ramis and Ernie Hudson. When Manhattan is once again overrun by ghosts, players will take on the role of a new recruit joining the Ghostbusters team. The game is being developed by Terminal Reality for the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC and by Red Fly Studios for PS2, Nintendo Wii and Nintendo DS.

Hudson Entertainment Mobile 2009 Line-Up Announced

Hudson Entertainment sent over a press release announcing that its mobile entertainment lineup for 2009 will include multiple new titles for the Apple iPhone, iTouch and iPod, as well as Android and many other mobile handsets. Hudson will bring more than 10 titles to the iPhone, iTouch and iPod in 2009 including Crayon Physics Deluxe. Hudson will continue its support of the Android platform with multiple titles in 2009, including the first Bomberman game to hit the platform in Bomberman Dojo and turn-based strategy game, Military Madness. High Voltage Hot Rod Show is a Wii racing title that requires players to master more than the basic racing skills to compete.
