London, UK – 19th October, 2012 – Today gamers can join in the celebration of 50 years of James Bond with the release of 007™ Legends from Activision Publishing, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Activision Blizzard Inc., (Nasdaq: ATVI). Available at retail outlets today, 007 Legends is the latest instalment in the esteemed franchise, delivering a first-of-its-kind Bond video game experience featuring a story inspired by five classic Bond films – Goldfinger, On Her Majesty’s Secret Service, Moonraker, Licence to Kill, Die Another Day. Additionally, 007 Legends will feature a sixth mission based on this year’s highly anticipated Bond film – SKYFALL – which will be available to unlock as downloadable content. This really is the most robust and unique Bond video game experience to date.”
“Eurocom, Activision, EON and Danjaq should be extremely proud of their collaboration to make the most diverse Bond video game to date,” David G. Wilson, VP of Global Business Strategy, EON. “007 Legends pays great homage to the Bond legacy and is another way for fans to interact with the world’s favourite spy as we celebrate the 50th anniversary.”
