The Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences Recognizes activision’S Call of Duty® 2: Big Red One and the Movies™ At the Ninth Annual Interactive Achievement Awards

Santa Monica, CA – February 10, 2006 – Activision, Inc. (Nasdaq: ATVI) announced today that two of its games were honored at the Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences’ Ninth Annual Interactive Achievement Awards, held last evening at the Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Call of Duty® 2: Big Red One earned “Outstanding Achievement in Story and Character Development” and The Movies™ was named “Simulation Game of the Year.”

Hosted by famed comedian/actor Jay Mohr, the Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences Awards Show was held in conjunction with the D.I.C.E. Summit, an annual meeting of the most creative minds in the video game industry.
