Dale City, Va. - Nov. 17, 2004 - From grizzly bears to Red Socks fans, many of this planet's furry creatures hole up when winter sets in. But not Treasure Mole. Alawar Entertainment (www.alawar.com), a leading publisher of casual games, has released Treasure Mole: Winter Vacations, an all-new sequel in which the industrious gold digger sets out to collect riches, avoid falling objects and knock off the enemies that get in his way.
To beat a level in Winter Vacations, the player must gather a specific amount of gold or wipe out a set number of enemies. He or she can also gather gems and minerals for additional points. While snapping up treasure, the player must avoid falling snowballs, which send the mole into an everlasting deep freeze when they hit him on the head. Since ammunition is limited, wise players use gravity to drop objects on the heads of his enemies whenever possible.
The full version of Winter Vacations includes three level packs totaling 90 levels. The first collection provides breezy fun for children; casual gamers will enjoy the second compilation. The third pack, however, was designed to boil the brains of experienced players.
Additional features include beautiful winter-themed graphics, a variety of weapons and enemies, and user-friendly controls.
