Dale City, Va. - Dec. 1, 2004 - Alawar Entertainment (www.alawar.com), a leading publisher of casual games, has released Brave Piglets, an arcade offering in which the player controls a sharp-shooting super swine who protects his kind from ravenous wolves.
The pig is located on an elevator that moves along the right side of the screen. Armed with one of five weapons, he must prevent the attackers from reaching a bridge stretched across the top of the display. If a wolf reaches the overpass, he'll destroy the elevator, costing the courageous hog one life. To gain the upper hand, the pig can shoot bonuses that descend on parachutes. Extra lives and better weapons are available to the quick-wristed player. The full version of Brave Piglets contains 40 levels, eight cartoon backgrounds and boss battles.
