Company: Codemasters
LOS ANGELES – May 16, 2011 – Codemasters® today released a new biography video for Operation Flashpoint®: Red River™, the all-new chapter in the multi-million selling tactical shooter series set to launch on June 7th in North America. In the video, Corporal Jose Soto explains his role as a sniper in the US Marines accompanied by gameplay footage showing the Marines in action. The Soto Biog video is now showing at www.facebook.com/flashpointredriver.

Corporal Jose Soto is Fireteam Bravo’s Scout, a sniper who provides long range cover for the other members of the team – Rifleman, Automatic Rifleman and Grenadier. The video shows him providing overwatch for his teammates and eliminating hostiles as he discusses what it means for him to be at war in Tajikistan. He says, “a sniper can make a good name for himself in Tajikistan. There are high value targets everywhere. But I’m not here for attention or accolades, I don’t want to be seen or heard. I’m here to put some of my bullets into very specific places, mainly the vital organs of enemy combatants.”

Operation Flashpoint: Red River will set a new standard for authentic and intense tactical combat when it arrives in North America on June 7th for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft®, PLAYSTATION®3 computer entertainment system and Games For Windows® LIVE.
