It's Time to Turn Up the Heat
Company: Davilex
VEENENDAAL, THE NETHERLANDS (October 2004) - Feel the pulse and rhythm of glamorous 'Magic City' juxtaposed against the steamy haunts of the criminal underworld. With a mix of drugs, glamour and guns comes one of the most action packed cop partnerships of all time. The return of Crockett and Tubbs, infamous for pastel sports jackets, designer stubble and the sultry stare of men who live on the edge. The atmospheric, action packed missions, give an ultimate setting for sensational game play. Launching November 26th, DAVILEX GAMES present MIAMI VICE: THE GAME, available on PC CDROM (£19.99), PS2 (£19.99) and XBOX (£19.99).

80's hit Miami Vice was one of the most popular TV series of its time taking millions of viewers on under-cover missions through the streets of Miami. The journey begins in the gritty criminal underworld in this 3rd person shooter, featuring the unlikely but effective team of Sonny Crockett and Ricardo Tubbs. Working incognito on the flashy gold coast, down the seedy alleyways that make Miami such a city of contrast, players embark on a war against drug trafficking, engage in shoot outs and solve mysteries. The ultimate goal is to dismantle the organisation of drug lord Ortega.

Crockett and Tubbs are faced with some tough challenges on the Miami streets, where players will need to decide between characters depending on their unique skills sets. For the swift and silent tactics, a player can use Crockett's cool composure and charismatic movements. For the more robust situation, blasting your enemy with a sawn off shotgun may be the only option. With Tubbs at hand your enemies will be pulp in seconds! Utilizing an originally designed 'Partner AI System', unique team working game play enables orders to be given to partners for back up, covering fire, kicking in doors and the inevitable arrests! The plot thickens as the detectives stake out and move in on a luxurious Miami Beach house, classy art gallery and an upper class regal hotel.

Licensed by Universal Studios the game includes all of the original characters and locations of the 80's cop classic. Published by DAVILEX GAMES and exclusively distributed in the UK by KOCH MEDIA, MIAMI VICE is due for release on Playstation 2 (£19.99), XBOX (£19.99) and PC CDROM (£19.99) on 26th November 2004.
