18th May 2007 – GAME Stores Group Ltd, Europe’s leading video games retailer, has secured the exclusive rights to sell the forthcoming Tomb Raider: Anniversary Collector’s Edition!
Inspired by the original Tomb Raider video game; Lara Croft Tomb Raider: Anniversary celebrates and commemorates ten years of Tomb Raider and Lara Croft. Faithfully preserving the elements which made the original Tomb Raider game such a classic, Tomb Raider: Anniversary uses enhanced graphics, technology and physics to bring Lara’s adventures up to today’s technology standards and will offer gamers a completely new gameplay experience.
The original Tomb Raider was released in 1996 and sold over seven million copies. The game also saw Lara Croft become a major icon of the video games industry and be recognised as the “Most Successful Human Videogame Heroine" in 2006 by the Guinness Book of Records.

Tomb Raider follows the adventures of Lara Croft after she is hired by a powerful syndicate to retrieve a mythical object called the Scion.
