Focus Home Interactive and Nadeo are pleased to release five new videos of their upcoming sailing title - Virtual Skipper 5. We are also happy to announce the launch of a new Web site dedicated to the game, which is located at http://www.virtualskipper-game.com.
Even if you're not the seafaring type, you'll want to take a look at these impressive videos. As you watch the official Virtual Skipper 5 trailer and the four other great videos, you will be introduced to all the boat classes featured in the game – including the Offshore Racer, Melges 24, ACC and Class Open 60 trimarans. All these boats are meticulously rendered and animated as they navigate through 14 of some of most renowned sailing areas featured in Virtual Skipper 5.
Virtual Skipper 5 uses multiple high-quality shaders to create the most realistic water and weather effects seen in a nautical game. The color of the water varies according to the depth along with the weather conditions and time of the day. The game offers sophisticated animations of waves that mimic real-world wave dynamics, currents, rotating winds and chop - all of which are integrated and interdependent. Night and day, in all types of weather, the sea had never been reproduced with such realism and fidelity, and we invite you to witness this through these five stunning videos.
