ATLANTA. August 3, 2012. Hi-Rez Studios, independent developer of AAA free-to-play online games, today announced its line-up for the upcoming gamescom 2012 scheduled for August 15th - August 19th in Cologne, Germany. Both Tribes: Ascend and SMITE will be playable on the show floor at partner booths (details are outlined below), and press can now pre-schedule appointments for interviews and to view exclusive, pre-release content for both titles behind closed doors in the business area.
As the German version of Tribes: Ascend (currently in beta) nears release, Hi-Rez confirms that Spanish and French versions are also on the way. Hi-Rez is keen to incorporate feedback from French and Spanish players in the beta phases, which will kick off shortly after gamescom.
“Our European community for both games has grown really rapidly, which is fantastic to see and we're working hard to add more support for non-English-speaking players. We are regularly adding new SMITE servers for Europe, and we're happy to have a beta German version to show at gamescom. French and Spanish versions will follow shortly after the show,” said Todd Harris, Chief Operating Officer at Hi-Rez Studios.
