ORONTO, CANADA â€“ June 8, 2005 â€“ Hip Gamesâ„¢ today launched a competition for three lucky individuals to become zombies in the upcoming horror survival shooter â€œCity of the Dead,â€ the first installment of the George A. Romero series of video games. Developed by Kuju Entertainment, â€œCity of the Deadâ€ will be released on the PlayStationÂ®2, XboxÂ® and PC CD-ROM in Q1 2006.
â€œWe thought this would be a great opportunity for George A. Romero fans to get some â€˜face timeâ€™ with one of his titles before the 2006 ship date,â€ said

To enter and become a zombie in â€œCity of the Deadâ€, contestants are asked to submit one digital photograph with an angry facial expression. Those selected as finalists will be contacted to submit additional photographs with various facial expressions. Long hair should be tied back in a low ponytail and glasses should be removed.

All entrants must be 18 years or older and winners will be required to sign a model release form. Three winners will be randomly selected on June 22 and announced on GameSpotâ€™s weekly live show the week of June 27, 2005. The three winners will be zombies in the game, receive credit in the gameâ€™s manual, and a free copy of the game.
