VANCOUVER – October 12, 2011 – Independent games developer Hothead Games is celebrating Canadian Thanksgiving Thongsgiving this week with a special Steam sale offering on the sizzling action-RPG, The Baconing.
As a special week long Steam sale, The Baconing will be available for $7.49 from Tuesday, October 11th through to Wednesday, October 18th.
To help DeathSpank in his meaty quest, Steam users can also take advantage of a 50% sale on new co-op character, Roesha – One Bad Mutha. She will be available at a discounted price of $0.99 for the first week, also starting on Tuesday October 11th.
Roesha is a 70s era inspired policewoman with a nasty attitude and an over-sized pistol that gets results. When her gun is simply not enough, she calls on her electric disco ball to take down a big crowd. She can also fire First Aid shells at DeathSpank to heal her crime-fighting partner. And when she taunts, get ready for a Charlie’s Angels-inspired pose and some Roesha attitude!
