Vivendi Universal Licenses SpeedTree®RT for World in Conflict™
Company: IDV
COLUMBIA, SC – Vivendi Universal Games has licensed SpeedTree®RT for World in Conflict™, a title under development by its Swedish studio, Massive Entertainment.

The online real-time strategy game, to be published for PC in 2007 and already winning industry praise for its intense realism, is based on the premise that the Cold War became an active, global conflict in 1989. In the historically accurate title, players may choose from a variety of combat roles and may use only the military equipment available at that time in history.

“Apart from just looking great, the SpeedTree resources we render are highly dynamic, with wind, fire, and explosion effects,” said Massive Lead Technology Engineer Christian Seger.
“– just the thing you want in an action oriented strategy game.”
