COLUMBIA, SC – Sky Gods, a game by BlackFoot Studios about airborne special operations forces, will feature SpeedTree®RT, the studio has announced.
“Our game explores in unprecedented detail what it’s like to jump out of a plane at incredible altitudes, free-fall for miles and then open your chute near the ground and glide into enemy territory,” said John Sonedecker, founder and president of BlackFoot Studios. “SpeedTree, with its realistic wind animation, efficiency, and impact on line of sight, is the perfect solution for players who want an immersive experience in airborne special ops.”
After they guide themselves safely to the targeted landing zone, Sky Gods players will complete various true-to-life Special Operations Forces missions, using customizable weapons to combat various adversaries and control the battlefield.
The game, developed with Unreal® Engine 3, is due out in the second quarter of 2009 and will be published on PC and “PLAYSTATION®3.”
