COLUMBIA, SC – SpeedTree®RT will play a prominent role in Stoked, the virtual snowboarder’s paradise developed by Bongfish GmbH in partnership with Destineer. Exclusive, tree-intensive images of the game have been posted today to a SpeedTree gallery page at www.speedtree.com/gallery/index.php?Page=107.
Due out in November on Xbox® 360, Stoked features five huge open-world mountains, each with over 45 square miles of terrain under varying weather & snow conditions. The game, which permits online play through Xbox® LIVE, allows players to customize their boards and discover new drop points by helicopter as they compete and cooperate with others.
“Trees are an essential part of the Stoked world, just as in reality,” said Bongfish Founder & CEO Klaus Hufnagl. “And thanks in part to SpeedTree’s efficiency, beauty and wind animation, our players are going to be amazed at how realistic Stoked feels.”
The game follows other successful outdoor sports titles by Bongfish, including Drop Point: Alaska and Stoked Rider: Alaska Alien.
