Make a Wish
Skill books are a key way of upgrading the power of your character as they teach your character new and advanced skills. Basic skill books are generally not very difficult to find, but more advanced ones require extensive questing and the defeat of powerful bosses. Because these bosses may be out of a newbies league, GWO offers players the option of making wishes at the Greek Wishing Pool; 3 wishes are free and can yield surprisingly high level skill books.
Giving Something Back

For those gamers who make it to a high enough level and want to give something back, why not become a Master yourself? Gather a group of apprentices and venture into maps with powerful monsters that drop piles of great items, including Gems and Crystals. Masters also receive rewards of Gold, Masters Ethics, and Reputation points, the latter two being exchangeable for the former. So give something back to the community and take an apprentice or two under your wing. After all, there’s no telling what kind of trouble they may get into without a proper role model!
