Jamdat Mobile's Tetris(R) Reaches Double Platinum Status With More Than Two Million Sprint Downloads
LOS ANGELES - (May 17, 2004) - Global wireless entertainment publisher JAMDAT Mobile Inc. (NASDAQ: JMDT) announced today that Tetris has been awarded double platinum status by Sprint (NYSE: FON, PCS), with more than two million downloads on Sprint PCS Vision phones.

One of the most widely played video games of all time, Tetris is a simple, highly addictive, real-time puzzle game. Players attempt to manipulate block-like pieces called "Tetriminos" as they drop into a well. As the Tetriminos fall, players must attempt to neatly arrange them into a horizontal row. When the row is complete, the row is removed from the well.

"It is a tremendous honor to be acknowledged by the people who play our games, and we are thrilled that Tetris is the only application ever to achieve Sprint's coveted double platinum status," said Mitch Lasky, Chairman and CEO of JAMDAT Mobile Inc. "Sprint has been an outstanding partner in helping us achieve our success."

"Sprint is pleased to recognize JAMDAT for helping drive the popularity of mobile gaming with great games like Tetris," said Jason Ford, general manager of games - Sprint. "We look forward to working with all our game partners to achieve the same level of success and continue the phenomenal growth and loyalty we've built since Sprint launched its first game in August 2002."
