EDISON, N.J., May 15, 2008 - Prepare to flex your creative genius as Majesco Entertainment Company (NASDAQ: COOL), an innovative provider of video games for the mass market, today announced Blast Works: Build, Trade, Destroy has gone gold for Wii. In addition, Majesco has announced that BlastWorksDepot.com--the first web site of its kind that allows user-created game content to be shared via the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection--is now live. Accessible through any web browser, this innovative social networking site supports the Blast Works game and lets players upload their creations online for others to view and download to their Wii to play. Players can browse, rate, and comment on posted content; the site even allows registered and unregistered users to search through back catalogs of creations by category, date, artist and other criteria. Users can also make new friends with other Blast Works players by sending and approving friend requests. "Throughout production we have strived to create a game that pioneers new territory on the Wii by giving players the ability to customize every aspect of their gaming experience. Now that it has gone gold, I can truly say that Blast Works has surpassed our expectations and is one of the most unique games that will be available this year," said Jesse Sutton, Chief Executive Officer, Majesco. "Furthermore, BlastWorksDepot.com provides Wii owners with a new social experience whereby they can create, share and trade their original creations online." Featuring bright, abstract graphics and fast-paced side-scrolling action, Blast Works is a "sticky" creative shooter that lets players absorb fallen enemies as protection. The in-depth and intuitive Blast Works Editor allows gamers to customize every element of their game play experience from levels, ships, enemy ships, objects and bosses to unique bullet patterns, movements, sound effects, hit box placement and more.
