Elements Distills Swap-And-Match Fun
Company: Mumbo Jumbo
DALLAS (February 4, 2008) – Swap-and-match games became more intense recently when Dallas-based, casual game developer MumboJumbo launched Elements. The new game, which is a twist on the popular genre of game play, is now available for digital download at MumboJumbo.com and other game portals.

The premise of Elements revolves around a book of clues left behind by Leonardo Da Vinci’s confidante who is studying alchemy. The game challenges players to distill nature’s greatest forces and unlock the elements needed to create the Elixir of Life. Featuring more than 50 levels, 15 elements and Renaissance-inspired artwork, Elements provides three unique game modes: classic, timed and relaxed.

MumboJumbo, an industry leader in casual games, plans to take Elements to retail later this year. DFC Intelligence analysts predicted last week that 2008 would be a banner year for casual games. According to Gamasutra.com, “DFC Intelligence forecasts that 2008 will be far and away the biggest year ever for the game industry.”

“Elements really stands out from the other content in our industry because we’ve not only elevated the swap-and-match game play, but we’ve laid that out over an engrossing mystery and really beautiful Renaissance-inspired graphics,” said Mark Cottam, CEO of MumboJumbo. “And, the best part is that the game is truly addictive!”

Having only been available a few days, the game has already received a warm reception from casual game portals like Reflexive Entertainment and Big Fish, receiving a “Customer Favorite” icon on the latter.
