Namco Bandai Games' Playstation ® Vita launch line up hits retailers across Europe
CERGY-PONTOISE, FRANCE – 22 February 2012 – It’s a big day for gaming with the launch of the PlayStation®Vita, and NAMCO BANDAI Games are right there at launch with three great games to get fingers flying in all directions over the console’s multi-touch controls. RIDGE RACER™, Shinobido 2: Revenge of Zen and Touch My Katamari™ are available now at retailers across EMEA and Asia-Pacific.

In RIDGE RACER for PlayStation®Vita, players will experience stunning graphics that exploit the full power of the console, along with dynamic audio and white-knuckle races against players from all over the world. Then of course there’s the unbeatable sheer thrill and satisfaction of conquering a tight corner at hair-raising speed with their new console in hand.

The sequel to the widely acclaimed Shinobido: Way of the Ninja, Shinobido 2: Revenge of Zen from Acquire Corp. and Spike Co. Ltd. raises the bar with even more stylish ninja action, new gameplay features, intuitive touch controls and a thrilling dynamic storyline. Players will scale sheer walls, leap across roof tops, sneak up silently on their prey, and expertly dispatch enemy after enemy with their razor-sharp blade.

For the latest installment in the Katamari series, Touch My Katamari, the King of All Cosmos has a whole new bunch of weird and wonderful missions in store as you once again step into the shoes of his son, the prince. Use the PlayStation®Vita touch controls to stretch, squeeze and roll your Katamari ball around the environments and gather up every possible object to make it grow and restore order to the universe.

In addition to the games themselves, a wealth of extra content for the three titles is on its way via PlayStation®Network. Fans who buy RIDGE RACER will find a code in the box for a free RIDGE RACER Gold Pass which gives fans free access to download a stack of extra premium DLC content, which is also available with digital purchases before March 31st. An exclusive RIDGE RACER application featuring an interactive audio and video experience is also on its way later in the year. A free demo is coming in March for Shinobido 2: Revenge of Zen, with more premium DLC also on its way which, once downloaded, will be unlocked when the player has completed the game, letting them continue their adventure. Touch My Katamari will also have a demo in March, with a series of premium DLC packs scheduled for the months ahead including missions, music and more.
