WildStar Introduces the Dominion Faction and Stalker Class
Company: NCSOFT
Fresh from last week’s 2013 launch window announcement, we’re excited to provide details about the second WildStar faction available to players when adventuring on planet Nexus. David "Scooter" Bass, Senior Community Manager at Carbine Studios, has outlined the races of the Dominion faction and new stealth class – the Stalker – on the WildStar blog.

The Dominion Faction: The Dominion is a powerful interstellar empire that rules the galaxy using military strength, religious fervour and advanced weaponry and technology. Established by the Eldan more than a thousand years ago, the Dominion has now claimed Nexus as its own and will stop at nothing to ensure that the fabled planet is completely under their control. You can get a better sense for the Dominion from this introductory video. Here are some of the races that make up the Dominion faction:

Cassian: Gifted with ambition and intelligence, the humans of planet Cassus experienced a period of rapid technological advancement more than two thousand years ago, leading to the development of space flight and interstellar exploration.
Mechari: Engineered by the Eldan themselves, the Mechari are a race of highly-efficient killing machines that make it their business to eliminate traitors and spies on Nexus.
Draken: Forged in the heat and dust of their savage homeworld, the Draken have come to Nexus to prove they are the most ferocious warriors in the galaxy.

The Stalker Class: The stalker uses a combination of stealth and technological abilities to overcome his enemies. Infused with powerful nanotechnology, the Stalker is a silent assassin; using advanced stealth capabilities to sneak up on enemies and eliminate them with deadly claws. Stalkers are also masters of tactical combat, strategically controlling the battlefield with proximity mines and leaving piles of corpses in their wake. For stalkers, surprise is the ultimate weapon. This class video further illustrates the gameplay style of the Stalker.
