WHAT: Eager consumers will line Broadway beginning Saturday, Nov. 18 to be among the first Nintendo fans in North America to buy the highly anticipated new Wii video game console when Toys "R" Us Times Square opens its doors at 12:01 am on Sunday, Nov. 19.
Toys "R" Us Times Square in New York City will be transformed into the ultimate entertainment center with interactive gameplay, music, fun, games and special appearance by Nintendo President, Reggie Fils-Aime, who will sell the first Wii. Activities begin at 8 p.m., and the store will remain open past midnight to accommodate shoppers.
Wii, priced at an MSRP of just $249.99, is already singled out as one of the most highly sought-after gifts this holiday season.
