FishingChamp announces successful 1st Closed Beta Test
Company: OnNet Co. LTD
San Jose, CA June 28th, 2006 – FishingChamp announced today that the first closed beta test was a great success. The game, over a period of only a week, saw thousands of players clamoring to be among the first to play the world’s only MMO fishing game. The number of maximum concurrent users was in the hundreds. The maximum concurrent users (MCU) is seen as a key measure of a game’s success in the online gaming industry.

Some of the game’s first players posted the following comments about FishingChamp:

This game has got the beginnings of what could possibly be the greatest
fishing game I have played in a very long time. -Evanesence

Simply an amazing game! Brings all the challenge and fun of real fishing
without any of the smell! -JDirt

My dad is not a gamer, but is a fisherman. When I explained the game and
how fun the first phase of beta was, I had him ready to join us for beta2.
He's 700 miles away, but we'll get to fish together daily :) . Can't beat
that! -Guyute

“We are grateful to all of our dedicated fans who played the game and provided us with invaluable feedback”, said Michael Min, PM of FishingChamp.
