New York, USA (May 29, 2008) Once more the sun sets on another toil filled day at Paradox Interactive. Across the spectacular metropolis the tired denizens drift off to sleep and dream of – City Life 2008 Edition.
Tucked up in their beds, the social classes yearn for the buildings to make their lives easier and more rewarding. Can you answer the question that all great architects should demand of themselves: what to build next?
Maybe basketball courts for the Hard-Up slums? Perhaps some primary schools for the education hungry Fringe or a new police station, for the safety conscious Blue Collar community? Why not give-in to the creative wishes of the Radical Chic and build art galleries and museums? Then again, what about sky-high office blocks for the technically savvy Suits? Only the social Elite wishes for nothing new. Happy with their lot in life, they desire nothing to change.
Erect one building and you'll satisfy some groups, but the balance of city life will change.How dramatically so, is up to you! Fulfill the needs of an ever-growing and ever-changing population.
