Prague, Czech Republic - June 16, 2011 - SCS Software is happy to announce the availability of digitally distributed edition of their newest truck simulation game Trucks & Trailers. The game is launching in retail across Europe this week.
Trucks & Trailers is not trying to be a complete trucking experience simulation. Quite the opposite, it concentrates just on one particular skill - being able to navigate the truck through tight spaces, especially on reverse gear. Think about it as a sort of game of solitaire for people into trucks - quick to get engaged and win a few challenges in the game and then move on again. It is not a game with the ambition to teach people how to drive a real truck. However, Trucks & Trailers has the potential to become a very useful training tool for helping wannabe truckers develop those reverse-a-truck-skill neural paths in the brain. This focus really brings together the worlds of gamers and real truck drivers.
Trucks & Trailers puts your driving skills to the test with over 50 individual truck driving challenges. Choose from 7 available trucks, work with a wide variety of cargo. Complete basic training and set on the way to master the wide variety of challenges that lie ahead.
Maneuvering these huge vehicles is not easy, especially when you are up against the clock. Make sure you deliver those valuable goods in pristine condition - your reputation depends on it!
A demo of Trucks & Trailers can be downloaded from the official game website:
The game requires a PC compatible and DirectX 9 capable 512 MB graphics card, with Windows XP/Vista/Windows 7, DirectX 9, 2.4 GHz CPU, and 2 GB of system memory.
