The Goblins are Back! 'Gobliiins 4 Released on Impulse

PLYMOUTH, MI (APRIL 30, 2009) – The goblins have returned after 10 years and are quirkier than ever. Stardock (www.stardock.com) announced today that after a 10 year hiatus, the Goblins series returns in Gobliiins 4 and is now available on Stardock’s digital distribution platform, Impulse (http://www.impulsedriven.com/goblins4) for $19.95.
Designed by original Gobliiins co-creator Pierre Gilhodes and developed by Societe Pollene, Gobliiins 4 brings back the beloved three original main characters in a zany adventure you won’t be able to put down. Gobliiins 4 blends elements of adventure and puzzle gaming: the player must find a solution to each level in order to progress to the next. The race through this colorful adventure-land spans more than 30 hours, including a secret bonus level.
In an original twist, players will control multiple goblins using their unique abilities to complete the exciting but challenging level. Marking the return of the series are the three unforgettable characters: ‘Tchoup’ is able to pick up items and keep them in his pockets, while being a master detective. His friend ‘Stucco’ has poor deductive reasoning skills but makes up for it with superior strength for lifting and climbing. The third goblin, ‘Perluis’, can wield magical powers and has a dark sense of humor.
The game is available in languages: English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Russian, Polish, Czech and Hungarian.
With Impulse, users purchase their game and can then immediately download and install the game through the Impulse client which seamlessly manages updates, community features and more. Games become part of that user’s account such that when a user purchase a new machine, a user can simply re-download the Impulse client, logon to their account and re-download all their purchases, even years into the future.
