From the creative mind of Sugar Games comes "Rainbow Web," a fresh and fun mix of puzzle-solving collection, and exploration for kids, their moms, dads and even grandparents!
After an extremely successful launch of "Rainbow Web" in the USA, Sugar Games is excited to announce the release of its newest version. For many American kids and parents, this cute puzzle marvel has become a chance to escape to the fantasy wonderland and enjoy hours of exciting gameplay. "Rainbow Web" has received top ratings on almost all popular US game portals and sold over 30,000 copies during the first three months after its official release. The game was in Top-10 at RealArcade.com for 9 weeks, and more than one month on Yahoo! Games, GameHouse, BigFish Games and others.
The concept behind "Rainbow Web" according to Michael Tretyakov, CEO of Sugar Games, is to bring all the family together for a couple of hours of peaceful puzzle-solving. "Rainbow Web" has been created as a family game, the one that could be as challenging and fun to play to kids as to their moms and dads. Not only does it offer you an entertaining way to spare free time, but it may also serve as a great learning game for your kids because the game teaches them different words and how to spell them. You will discover a playfield made as a web, which is good for developing your child's spatial imagination. And, of course, there is logic. There is a strong strategic element in the game that makes you plan your steps ahead to achieve better results. As any casual game, "Rainbow Web" is a good way to shake off stress. If you are melting in a pool of stress by the end of the working day, just give "Rainbow Web" a try!"
"Rainbow Web" takes place in the Rainbow kingdom as Spider, a wicked and mighty wizard, casts an evil spell on the happy wonderland and its creatures and spins a web around. Now, their only hope lies with you. This is where you step in. Assuming the role of a brave traveler, you must free letters from the magic web to restore the real names of the spell-bound places. As soon as you have restored all the names, the Rainbow kingdom and all its creatures will be back to sunshine again, and rainbows will sparkle and shine in the blue sky as before!
As distinct from a crowd of other puzzles with a square playfield, "Rainbow Web" features a round playfield made as a web, which carries lots of
multicolored beads. Your objective is to swap neighboring beads to make a horizontal or vertical line of three or more beads that match in color. The goal of the game is to restore a magic phrase that can break the spell. Some of the beads have letters on, so you have to make matches with them to collect all letters needed to restore a word or a phrase. Once it has been restored, you continue your adventure on the next level. All in all you have to go through 60 increasingly difficult game levels. You can opt for a timed play mode or an untimed one if you want to relax and play at your own pace.
"Rainbow Web" has spawned a romantic interest among thousands of American kids and their parents. Here's what one of the mothers says about the game. "Me and my kids love this game! We are addicted! Even the screenshots after you complete a level are enjoyable. This game requires lots of strategy, thinking skills. My seven year old is finally getting the hang of it. The timer still gets her but she's rapidly improving her thinking skills. We love this game!!!"
