Become Part of the Next Code Lyoko Video Game!
SANTA MONICA, May 24 , 2006 –The Game Factory, an international publisher of video game and computer games based on leading international children’s brands, today announced it is giving gamers the opportunity to become one of the characters in the Code Lyoko Wii game by drawing an original monster starting today until Monday June 13th 6pm (PST).

The Grand Prize winner will be integrated in the Code Lyoko game as a new 2D character in addition to winning a Wii console and a Code Lyoko Wii “Quest for Infinity” game.

The 2nd through 20th prize winners will have their drawings placed in a secret room within the game and win a Code Lyoko Wii “Quest for Infinity” game.

Taffy Entertainment, worldwide distributor of “Code Lyoko” is sponsoring the contest and is providing the rules and regulations as well as entry information on the Code Lyoko web site: www.codelyoko.com

Participants can submit up to three drawings of an original monster. A jury composed of the creative team behind the Code Lyoko video game, which includes members of Neko Entertainment, the Game Factory and Moonscoop Productions will be selecting the best submissions and declare the winners who will see themselves and their artwork integrated into the gameplay of Code Lyoko Wii. Winners will then be required to submit photos of themselves to be re-rendered in the animation style of the game.

Code Lyoko Wii is scheduled to launch in October 2007 and is the Game’s Factory second title published for Nintendo’s Wii platform. The new “Code Lyoko” game is based on the fourth season of the hugely popular animated series and delivers an intuitive and innovative blend of adventure, combat, platform and space-racing type of game play utilizing the features of the Wii Remote Controller.

Airing on Cartoon Network in the US, “Code Lyoko” follows the adventures of four teenage students who discover the existence of a mysterious parallel universe, a virtual world called Lyoko. The students, Yumi, Ulrich, Odd and Jeremy discover that both Earth and Lyoko are threatened with destruction by a super virus, X.A.N.A., which has infected the Super Computer that controls everything. Now the students, who are joined by Aelita, a virtual being from Lyoko, must lead double lives: ordinary boarding school students on Earth and action heroes inside the digital world of Lyoko, where they learn each has special powers.
