Parents' Choice Foundation Recognizes The Game Factory's Garfield's Nightmare and Pet Alien Video Games with Coveted 'Parents' Choice' Awards

SANTA MONICA, Calif. — The Game Factory, an international publisher of video and computer games based on children’s characters, recieved top honors for its Garfield’s Nightmare and Pet Alien video games from the Parents’ Choice Foundation. Providing parents with information to participate wisely in their children's learning and recommending products that help kids grow imaginatively, physically, morally and mentally, the Parent’s Choice Foundation awarded The Game Factory’s Garfield’s Nightmare with the ’2007 Parents' Choice Silver Honor’ award and Pet Alien with the ’2007 Parents' Choice Recommended’ award
Each year, the Parents' Choice Awards Program identifies the best products for children of various ages, backgrounds, skills and interests. Awards are given to those products that meet and exceed standards set by educators, scientists, performing artists and children. Silver Award winner Garfield’s Nightmare is a platform game available exclusively for the Nintendo DS that blends top-notch graphics with a clever run and jump gameplay.
The Parents' Choice Recommended Award indicates that the product has received the committee's approval and thorough recommendation for reasons of production, appeal and fulfillment of its clear intent.
Recommended Award winner Pet Alien is a unique addictive action puzzle game exclusively available for the Nintendo DS, boasting clever puzzles and testing the player’s action skills.
