Eningen/Germany, February 20th, 2007: Trinigy, an established company in the sector of 3D game engines, today announced that it will showcase the latest version of its Vision Engine publicly for the first time at its expo booth during this year’s GDC, taking place from March 7-9 in San Francisco.
The new Vision SDK #6.1 offers a multitude of improvements and new features that enhance game production processes and offer novel technological and creative possibilities for game developers. Trinigy’s further optimized graphics engine excels in performance and visual fidelity, not least due to its
comprehensive support of multi-core processors in modern PCs and game consoles. Furthermore, Vision #6.1 offers Game Developers a wide repertoire of advanced graphic features: effects such as HDR, soft shadows and parallax mapping are simply a matter of a few mouse clicks. In addition to the integration of various third-party Middleware components such as SpeedTree, PhysX or Kynapse AI, a highly flexible real-time production environment including on-target-viewing for console platforms is complementing the upcoming next generation of the Vision Engine.
Moreover, Trinigy announced that the middleware firm successfully broadened its customer base in the highly-competitive international engine market and concluded further licensing agreements in Europe and South America. Meanwhile game titles in North America, Korea, China, Jordan, Russia, Brazil, Spain and Germany rely on Trinigy’s Vision Engine.
With the new version of the Vision Engine, Trinigy plans to further increase its international market share. In the course of this, Trinigy will have an expo booth (#5230, North Hall) at this year’s Game Developers Conference, taking place at San Francisco from March 7-9. Developers and publishers interested in a presentation are welcome to arrange a meeting at GDC and should send an email to gdc@trinigy.de or contact Trinigy via its new website (www.trinigy.net).
