adidas Impossible Team Online goes beta World Cup-themed MMOG now accepting players for open beta

adidas and Typhoon Games announced the open beta launch of “The Impossible Team Online Gameâ€, the World Cup-themed Massively Multiplayer Online Game (MMOG) being developed for adidas by leading game developer and distributor Typhoon Games www.typhoongames.com and global messaging provider Outblaze www.outblaze.com .
Open beta players are being signed up to test Impossible Team Online ahead of its formal launch in May 1st 2006; anyone can take part in the beta testing, and those interested in participating can learn more at http://www.typhoongames.com/mmogame/
The Impossible Team Online Game is a free MMOG offered by adidas, the official sponsor to the 2006 World Cup. Anyone with an Internet connection can recruit a team of 1-10 players, sharpen their virtual football skills through virtual matches, and challenge other teams in preparation for the World Cup this June.
The Impossible Team Online Game features soccer mini games, tournaments, ladders and rewards, many famous names from the world of football, and the ability for users to customize their main characters and team players.
Two adidas games There are two football games on offer from adidas this World Cup, and both are free. The Tunit Game available now at http://www.myplus10.com is a single-player arcade game available to anyone with a web browser. The Impossible Team Online Game will be an MMOG launched in May 1st 2006 that will need to be downloaded and installed on Windows-based PCs. Players who perform well in the Tunit Game will enjoy starting advantages in the much bigger Impossible Team Online. Both games are completely free of charge and contain no spyware or other forms of malware.
