London, UK – April 17, 2013 – Today, Ubisoft® announced the upcoming launch of the Project TOPOS: Beta Map Testing program for its free-to-play, PC Online shooter, Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Online. Scheduled to start within the month of April, the Project TOPOS: Beta Map Testing program will allow the vibrant Ghost Recon Online community to play an integral role in shaping the design and development of new maps in the game.
The community’s engagement with the game and their feedback have always been an important central force in guiding the evolution of the Ghost Recon Online experience, and the Ubisoft Singapore development team is now taking it to the next level with the Project TOPOS program. The program will allow all Ghost Recon Online players to play on beta versions of maps that are still under development. More importantly, the community will be able to share their feedback of these maps through dedicated Ghost Recon Online Project TOPOS forum channels. This feedback will help guide the Ubisoft Singapore development team in further improving the design and quality of these beta maps.
To participate in the Project TOPOS program, Ghost Recon Online players will need to be a part of a clan. There will be 3 Project TOPOS beta maps at the start, and these will be available in the Clan Match section of Ghost Recon Online.
