Ubisoft Releases New Trailer for Prince of Persia

SAN FRANCISCO, CA – November 25, 2008 – Ubisoft has released a new trailer now available for immediate download for the upcoming Prince of Persia video game. The focus of this in-depth character exposition is the Prince – a mysterious man, reluctantly drafted into the fight to save the world from Ahriman's spreading darkness. In this feature, the game's developers and others in the industry discuss this new Prince, his personality and motivations and how certain pop-culture heroes have influenced his overall design.
Prince of Persia is scheduled to release December 2, 2008 for the Xbox 360(TM) video game and entertainment system from Microsoft and the PLAYSTATION®3 computer entertainment system. The game will be released for the PC on December 9, 2008.
About Prince of Persia
Set in a land rooted in ancient Persian mythology, the Prince finds himself caught in an epic battle between the primal forces of light and darkness: the God of Light, Ormazd versus his brother Ahriman, the destructive God of Darkness. The Prince arrives just in time to witness the destruction of the legendary Tree of Life – an act which threatens to plunge the entire world into eternal darkness. Manifested in the form of the Corruption, a dark substance that physically contaminates the land and the skies, the Prince must partner with Elika, a deadly companion, to heal the world from the evil Corruption.
