LOS ANGELES, CA â€“ (September 02, 2005) â€“ Vivendi Universal Games (VU Games) today announced that Sierra Entertainmentâ€™s highly anticipated and award-winning PC game F.E.A.R. â„¢ (First Encounter Assault Recon) will be released in a â€˜Directorâ€™s Editionâ€™ DVD format. The Directorâ€™s Edition DVD will include exclusive content, including a â€œMaking of F.E.A.R.â€ documentary, a developerâ€™s roundtable commentary video, live action â€œdeclassifiedâ€ interviews with Alma, and an exclusive F.E.A.R. machinima episode from Rooster Teeth Productions of Red vs. Blue fame.
Available in North America only, the Directorâ€™s Edition DVD will hit retail stores in October 2005. Gamers who preorder the DVD Edition at select retailers will also receive $5 off the final SRP when the game hits the streets.
