- Co-op Multiplayer - Survive hordes of zombies with three other friends.
- Innovative game play - Choose what you want to do: complete goals, escape alive, attack your teammates, or be a zombie. You decide!
- Interactive Environment - Barricade doors, build traps, doors can be knocked open by zombies or players, special events waiting for the player to discover.
- Varity of Items - Other then regular guns and melee weapons, you also have fire extinguishers, wire traps, etc. You can also throw items at people!
- Four Different Characters - Each character has their own special abilities.
- Play as a zombie - The player can join an in-progress game and play as a Zombie, giving the surviving player more of a challenge.
- Puzzle solving - The player must explore and gather hints within the level and finally escape without dying.
- Motion Capture - Player and Zombie animations are done using motion capture data, giving the characters a more life-like feel.
- Voice over - Voice for every character and zombie.
