· Crusades system revamped
· Education revamped
· Lots of realm intrigue and challenges - civil wars, assassination, and break-away satellite states added
· The way your realm is controlled has been revamped: intrigue (not stewardship) now determines max demesne size and the ruler's martial skill now affects your recruitment rates
· More court intrigue with unruly bastards, disgruntled heirs, and pushy courtiers added
· Foreign rulers are now likely to pledge allegiance to powerful neighbors, and successful realms will now be more likely to grant new titles to their trusted courtiers
· More challenges with the plague being less predictable, illness that can spread through realms and courts, and an overall increase in the mortality rate
