Dieses Programm behebt ein Problem mit der Releaseversion von Darkstar One (Version 1.0) in Zusammenhang mit älteren Grafikkarten, die nicht kompatibel zur neueren Shader-Version 2.0 sind (z. B. die GeForce-4-Serie, Radeon 8500 bis 9200). Das Problem betrifft die erste Tunnelsequenz; hier wurde der Bodennebel verwendet, obwohl dieser von Pixelshader-1.1-Karten nicht unterstützt wird. Der Riesenfrachter der Raptoren hat jetzt außerdem noch ein Pixelshader-1.1-Modell.
