Unlike many of the predecessors to Rage of Magic II, part of the charm is the ongoing story and cinematic cut-scenes. A strange and twisted plot, filled to the brim with betrayal and backstabs is only matched by the brutal onslaught of sword swinging insanity that goes on inside the game. Rage of Magic features 35 levels of one player story mode, and two player modes including 100 levels of arena and a versus mode. What would a game like this be without supers? Rage of Magic II features an action-packed super and combo attack system that will take skill to master. Blocking can be done automatically but it takes timing and reflexes to counter attack. While attacking there are plenty of combos to perform, each with strengths and weaknesses. Combo attacks, super combo attacks, resistant attacks, counter attacks, and super counter attacks are just some of the many skills a fighter draws on.
