Deal or No Deal Wii Version Announced

Endemol and Zoo Games today announced that a Wii version of Deal of No Deal will be released this November. The game will follow the format of the hit television show, but new game modes and mini-games will also be introduced, such as Million Dollar Mission and Double or Nothing. Selecting cases, choosing Deal or No Deal, and other on-screen options take advantage of the point-and-click controls of the Wii Remote. Players will also be able to use their custom-made Mii characters as unique in-game contestants, while the game will also feature television host Howie Mandel.

CDV Attends Comic-Con 2008

CDV today announced they will attend this year's Comic-Con 2008 from San Diego. Metal band Blind Guardian will be signing autographs in the Sacred 2: Fallen Angel area (Booth 5129). The band members will be available on Friday and Saturday, July 25 and 26, from 5 to 6 pm to meet fans and promote a new song written exclusively for Sacred 2: Fallen Angel. Fans will also be able to visit the booth and enjoy hands-on play time with the game. Release is expected this October for the PC and this November for consoles.

dtp today announced that a new website for Mata Hari is now live. Mata Hari is a classic point & click PC adventure game which tells a story based on legendary dancer and spy Mata Hari. The website contains extensive information on the game, as well as background information about some of Mata Hari’ s famous contemporaries such as, for example, Marie Curie. The game will be released this fall.

We have several screenshots and gameplay movies from Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World, showcasing this Wii game set two years after the events of Tales of Symphonia for GameCube. Dawn of the New World follows the journey of two new young heroes, Emil Castagnier and Marta Lualdi, as they seek to uncover the mystery of why their world has fallen into ruin. In their quest, their paths will cross with the original cast of Tales of Symphonia including Lloyd and Colette, as well as a summon spirit known as Ratatosk who claims to be the lord of all monsters.

NAMCO BANDAI Games America released new screenshots and trailer from Eternal Sonata, this time showcasing the PS3 version scheduled to be available this fall with new quests, new playable characters, new music and more. The game's roster of playable characters expands with the addition of Serenade and Crescendo, and players can now customize the look of members of their party with a variety of new outfits. Players can also enjoy several all-new dungeons, and even experience different endings.

Namco Bandai Games America also released the first trailer and screenshots from Digimon World Championship for the Nintendo DS, a game based on the Digimon Data Squad animated series where you will have to capture and train the strongest Digimon, in order to compete in a legendary tournament. You will be able to experience the thrill of the hunt for over 200 different Digimon, which, once captured, can be trained and assembled into the ultimate squad to compete for the Digimon World Championship. The game is scheduled to be available this August.
