- Make a clean install of Gothic 3
- Install official patch 1.12
- Install community patch 1.3.1
- Insert your old savegame if you had any

- The official patch 1.12 contains all previous official patches
- The community patch 1.3.1 requires the official patch 1.12 to be installed, or it will not install at all
- Community patch 1.3.1 contains all previous community patches, but not the official patches.
