Twelve Interactive today announced they acquired the license to develop a game based on Tarzan from Edgar Rice Burroughs Inc, the company which holds all rights to the franchise. Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon EU Release Date Announced

Nintendo today announced that Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon will be released across Europe on December 5th. The game is based on Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon and the Blade of Light, which was created in 1990 for the NES console but never released in Europe. A wide range of characters, with unique powers and integrated storylines, adds depth to the game, which features a range of new side stories and several difficulty levels to suit everybody. Using the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection, players can battle over the internet or against one another in the same room, access a special armoury shop or lend/borrow troops to/from friends. Read More...

Slitherine today announced their line-up for the rest of 2008 and 2009. Under the History brand, they will release HISTORY: Great Empires Pharaohs on handheld devices this autumn and HISTORY: Great Battles of the Middle Ages on next generation platforms during spring 2009. Dragonica EU Release Confirmed and Screens

Gala Networks Europe has announced that Dragonica, a new MMO which puts the 3D side-scrolling action into an online format, will be released in English, French and German languages via the European gPotato gaming portal during Q1 2009. A mixture of classic 2D side-scrollers and combo heavy action games, the combat system from Dragonica will allow you to experiment with various attack combinations to see the most eye-popping and comical combat animations. Legendary tells the story of Charles Deckard, an art thief who is duped into stealing Pandora's Box. When he opens the box, he releases hordes of beasts thought to be fictional such as werewolves and gryphons into an unprepared modern world. A full scale war between man and myth begins, and it is quickly complicated by the actions of powerful secret societies. As the person responsible for releasing this terror, Deckard's unwittingly become the only person capable of containing it once more and saving civilization from being destroyed by the terrifying creatures of the box.
