Command and Conquer Laboratory is a modification to Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars that aims to balance the original game at the highest level of play, and enhance the original design of the game by "balance enforcement", ie. making sure the game balance realizes its design, instead of going against it. It's also a "future patches preview" of sorts, since it aims to zoom in on critical balance changes that are appropriate and feasible to be implemented in patches to come, under the developers discretion evidently. If you ever heard about the highly successful "battletests" for BfME1 and 2, that later became official patches, you know what CnCLab is about. It's about giving the community the chance to influence the future of their beloved game, and have a hell of a good time playing instead of crossing arms and waiting indefinitely for patches.
