Activision also announced that rock and roll legend Sting and progressive metal pioneers Tool are making their video game debuts in Guitar Hero World Tour. Singer-songwriter, actor, author, activist and lead singer/bassist of The Police, Sting will add his voice and likeness as an in-game character. Aspiring frontmen can take the stage as Sting throughout their vocal career or play alongside him as he performs one of The Police classics, "Demolition Man". Activision today announced that Call of Duty: World at War, the first person shooter sequel in the works at Treyarch Invention, the studio which developed Call of Duty 2: Big Red One and Call of Duty 3, will hit the store shelves across the UK on November 14, 2008. Harmonix and MTV Games today announced the release of a title update for Rock Band on the Xbox 360 that allows owners of the original Rock Band to export 55 tracks from the original Rock Band disc for play in the soon-to-be released Rock Band 2. The title update will add an "export disc" tab under the extras option in the Rock Band menus, allowing you to export 55 tracks from the original Rock Band track list for the nominal fee of $4.99 (400 Microsoft Points).
