Game Seed today released new screenshots and a trailer showcasing the Twisted Iron track from Nitro Stunt Racing. This racing game features realistic handling, very high speed cars with over boosted jet engines, and air control. Twisted Iron is released for free to the NSR Stage 1 license owners through the update 0.2.3.8, which also includes certain bug fixes. The latest demo is locally mirrored here.

Summer Athletics UK Release Date Confirmed

Eidos today announced that Summer Athletics for the Nintendo Wii, Xbox 360, PlayStation 2 and PC will be released in the UK on August 15th. The game features competitions in more than 25 of the most popular summer sports disciplines, such as sprinting, hurdles, cycling, archery, javelin, hammer throw, and swimming. The Whispered World Website Goes Live

Releasing these new screenshots, Daedalic Entertainment announced that an official website for The Whispered World is now live with the latest info and a community forum. In The Whispered World, the main character, Sadwick, is a young clown, travelling a fairy tale world with his family's circus. But he is in no laughing mood and on a disappointing search for meaning in his life. One night, a mysterious form speaks to him in a dream and sends him on perilous journey. Players direct Sadwick and his constant companion, a little worm named Spot, through the game world with hand-painted backgrounds filled with animated details and lovingly crafted characters in the style of classic animated films. The game will be released during Q4 2008.

Ninjatown Introduces Anti-Ninja

SouthPeak Games introduced Anti-Ninja, a character from Ninjatown for the Nintendo DS, a game based on the Shawnimals' designer toy line. This ninja isn't so much against ninjas as he is the anti-thesis of being a ninja. After all, day or night, it's hard to blend into the background when you're wearing bright orange robes. Still, even though his ninja master often shakes his head in disgust, Anti-Ninja knows he looks fab since orange is this year's black. The game is under development at Venan Entertainment in conjunction with Cashmere Productions and is scheduled to be available in October 2008.

GamersGate today announced the July 28th worldwide digital download premiere of the Gold Edition of Making History: The Calm & the Storm. This Gold version includes a host of new features, as well as the Making History Game Editor, a brand new scenario focusing on Germany's rise to power, and expanded game play (press 'read more' for details) and will retail for $19.99. Gamescampus today released a list with the latest updates to Xiah: Rebirth. The Accursed Ruins map is the most important addition and the most challenging zone yet, with level 111~140 monsters to test your skills against. The best drop items in the game are available there, as well as the best armor set yet, the Blood Dragon. A double FEMA and experience event is also underway until August 4th. Frogster Interactive GC 2008 Line-Up Announced

Frogster Interactive today announced their line-up of titles for Games Convention 2008. On their two-part stand A10 in hall 5, the company presents The Chronicles of Spellborn and Runes of Magic with lots of prizes to be won in PvP competitions.
