Designer Jeremy Feasel, Art Director Chris Tamburrino, and Producer Raj Joshi explain the gameplay mechanics behind the new tiberium harvesting feature in Command & Conquer 4. The development team has taken a completely new and unique approach to harvesting tiberium for the first time in Command & Conquer gameplay with elements that correlate to the single-player story and fiction of the C&C universe, and more importantly a gameplay mechanic that is crucial for players to utilize in order to gain powerful and strategic upgrades, unlocking new units and helping to gain the advantage over their opponent. The tiberium crystal mechanic in C&C 4 is one of the most significant gameplay features in the game. You’ll be racking up a lot of losses on the battlefield if you don't master it!
