It's a map with a multi-combat-zone concept, which means that there are different ways to fight the enemy.
There is a town that has recently been flooded, as already told in the title, which offers a lot of close quarters combat.
Then there are also a few jungle-like areas, which makes the fight a little harder at some points.
And if that wasn't enough, there is also a cave to fight in!
Author: This map was always my favorite back in the days when I played Vietcong.
Also it was the first map I ever played, and since then I loved it.
I'm talking about Haiphong-2.5, one of the best maps ever developed for Vietcong.
Now I took the time and tried to rebuild it for FarCry 2.
Although it is not possible to rebuild it exacly, I gave my best and tried to make it as exact as possible.
A remake of the stargate center known from the "Stargate" series as you can watch it on TV.
it is located ina swamp-like area.
This map supports all default gametypes (DM, TDM, CTD & Uprising) and is made equally for both teams.
Both sides of the map are almost the same, so no team gets an advantage over the other team.
Well this is another map by me, it's called "Neighborhood" or formerly "Toys in the Hood 01".
Why it's also called "Toys in the Hood 01"? Well, I got inspired by a game called "Re-Volt".
It's a little rusty, but it's a classic. It's a racing game, your ride is just an RC Car.
One of the Tracks was called "Toys in the Hood 01", so I took it's basic layout, extendet it and edited it.
This is what came out. A medium sized urban map which looks like a modern residential area.
There is not much cover on the open road, so try to find an alleyway or take cover in one of the gardens.
It has paved roads, sidewalks, many small houses and gardens... fullfilled with grass, bushes, trees...
It looks great at daytime, but also at night, because there are many lights that make a great atmosphere.
Well, what else to say? All gametypes are supported, up to 16 players, 6/6 vehicles and 10/10 ammo crates...
As the name already tells you, there is a bunker the APR uses as it's local HQ. Of course the UFLL can't let it be like that,so they took positions in a small fort nearby and are getting ready to attack this HQ.
The bunker features a few things, like a small deep-level garage, machine gun positions and some good spots for snipersand other shooters. The map has an amount of vehicles, emplaced weapons and buildings and other things to take cover in.
This is a SMC "Skilled Multiplayer combat" map you will need to play as a team to win.
Time needed play is 30 to 45 min.
Kalele Conflict - Bakwanga Mine
Due to its substantial mineral riches, the eastern highlands of Kalele have long been of interest to foreign mining companies, and Bakwanga is the site of one of the largest mines in the area. The mine is currently under APR (Alliance for Popular Resistance) control, but in the north-east, the UFLL (United Front for Liberation and Labour) is advancing relentlessly, intent on securing the mine for themselves and their allies. Both factions have hired foreign mercenaries, paid for by foreign backers, eager to exploit the turmoil of the ongoing civil war to conduct illegal mining. Control of Bakwanga Mine is a vital objective that could easily tip the balance in this conflict, and both factions know it.
A very big map with a big lake in its middle and some nice constructions around...
