Description:
Over 50 missions in Wartime Command cover several prominent battles from World War II, including the invasion of Poland and France from 1939-40, D-Day landings and the fall of Germany in 1945. In the commander role, players have hands-on control of troops and units for American, British, German, French or Soviet forces, complete with authentic uniforms, vehicles and weaponry. Battle command tactics throughout the game involve assault, reconnaissance, covert operations, rescues, city skirmishes, ambushes and sabotage, with all units and objects fully destructible and interactive via real physics. Through these game play features, along with 36 personal and combat attributes for individual soldiers, Wartime Command takes players closer to the actions of a tactical war experience by exposing realistic and personally intense details as players take intricate responsibility for their troops.
