SEGA has released a new trailer for Valkyria Chronicles, showcasing this PS3 game due to hit the store shelves in November 2008. Valkyria Chronicles is set in a fictitious continent reminiscent of 1930s Europe - divided in two and ruled by the Empire and the Federation. The Empire has set its sights on invading a small neutral country called Gallia, which is situated in the middle of the two great empires. The game follows a hero named Welkin and his fellow soldiers of the Federation's 7th Platoon as they engage in a series of epic battles.

A trailer from Infinite Undiscovery has been added in our download section, showcasing this fantasy RPG for Xbox 360 developed by tri-Ace, which will be released across North America on September 2nd and across Europe on September 5th. The game features real time battles and dynamic environments, while the player's choices will directly influence the discoveries you'll make. Players can assemble parties from a pool of 18 characters, choosing those with the best combination of abilities for the job. The experience is enhanced with a soundtrack by composer Motoi Sakuraba from Star Ocean and Valkyrie Profile series.

Square Enix also released a new trailer from Star Ocean: The Last Hope, the latest entry in the futuristic space opera RPG series Star Ocean. In the works at tri-Ace Inc., Star Ocean: The Last Hope combines sci-fi and fantasy elements, spanning multiple planets and the vastness of space itself to recount the origins of the STAR OCEAN universe. The game will be available in Spring 2009, for Xbox 360.

Square Enix released a new trailer from Star Ocean: First Departure, a completely remastered version of the first episode in the Star Ocean saga, set to be released for the PSP on October 21st. High Voltage Software sent over a press release announcing that The Conduit has managed to earn accolades in a limited showing throughout the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) Media and Business Summit. The Conduit is a first-person action shooter that boasts a competitive online multiplayer component and a thrilling single-player campaign. Advanced graphical features include dynamic environment mapping, interactive water with real-time reflection, and four-stage texture composition including gloss, diffuse, and bump mapping. Powered by Quantum 3 Game Engine technology, The Conduit is slated for Q1 2009 release, exclusively for Wii.

Konami released a trailer from Castlevania: Order of Ecclesias for the Nintendo DS, the next installment in the Castlevania series, a game developed by the same team which worked on Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin together with Koji 'Iga' Igarashi. Castlevania: Order of Ecclesias is expected to ship during Fall 2008.

With the help of the player, "The Humans" will run, throw, jump, catapult, battle dinosaurs, and surf their way through all the trails and tribulations of the Jurassic period while discovering some of mankind's greatest inventions. The Humans will be released during Q4 2008.

Deep Silver has released a new trailer for Secret Files: Tunguska for Wii and DS, a game based on the true but mysterious story of the 1908 Siberian explosion. Everybody could see it from a distance, but no one really knew what was going on. In the game, new secret documents are discovered which prove the meteorite theory wrong. You play as Nina (though there will be a second playable character), whose father, a scientist, has gone missing. Secret Files: Tunguska for Wii and DS will hit the store shelves this October.

Our S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky gallery has been updated with several screenshots, illustrating the official prequel to the survival FPS game S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl due to hit the store shelves on August 29, 2008. Developed by GSC Game World, S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky is a survival FPS game for PC based on a 'what-if' scenario of the second Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant accident. The story of the game brings the players one year prior to the events of the original S.T.A.L.K.E.R. game in 2011. The protagonist is a mercenary who appeared at the edge of the opposition between stalker factions, Strelok and even the Zone itself. The main character will have to play the key role in the events, which led to creation of the Zone up to the point from which the original S.T.A.L.K.E.R. game begins.

Deep Silver also released the first trailer and screenshots from Pet Vet: Down Under, a Nintendo DS simulation game scheduled for November 2008. The main character moves to Australia to start a Veterinary hospital for local animals from the region. You have to help her in her journeys of starting a business from the ground up. In order to earn money for supplies, pet food and to build better clinic you must successfully treat the animals and cure them. There is a hidden element that you must buy books and read in order to learn about the animals and figure out what is wrong with them.

Deep Silver has released the first trailer and screenshots from Gravity, a puzzle game with over a 100 increasingly difficult levels to solve, 20 sandbox levels for experimental play, 4 mini-games for matches with friends, as well as an editor for creating new levels. Gravity will be available in November 2008, for PC, Wii and DS.

SEGA released a new trailer and more screenshots from Samba de Amigo, a game that lets players shake to the beats of a samba-infused soundtrack comprised of popular new songs as well as fan-favourites from the original dreamcast game. Playing as the grinning, sombrero-topped monkey, Amigo, players shake the Wii Remote and Nunchuk like maracas, in time with the visual beats of the music on-screen.

Yakuza 2 is a 3rd person action adventure featuring enhanced combat, larger environments and a thrilling storyline continuing a year after the first game ended. Kazuma Kiryu, the protagonist of the first game, is named Fourth Chairman of the Tojo Clan but unexpectedly retires from life in the clan the same day. However, his personally chosen successor is assassinated by a former allied gang called the Omi. This sets the stage for the sequel's storyline, which sees Kazuma travelling through Japan on what could be the last opportunity to stop an all-out war between the Tojo and Omi clans.

SEGA relesed eleven new screenshots and a trailer from MADWORLD, an inventive third-person action game exclusively for Wii. Produced by Atsushi Inaba, MADWORLD has a unique black and white style, depicting an incredibly sharp backdrop that straddles graphic novels and 3D worlds. As players battle opponents, they must master the use of various weapons and items found within their environment, such as chainsaws and street signs, while entertaining sports commentary adds to the third-person gameplay.

As players determine how to accomplish different objectives, the decisions made and actions taken in each mission will ultimately transform the type of secret agent Michael Thorton will become. Alpha Protocol will be available for PC, Xbox 360 and PS3 - the game will hit the store shelves on February 17 2009.

NAMCO BANDAI Games America Inc. has released the first screenshots and new gameplay movies from We Cheer, a new Wii game which utilizes full-motion based controls to let players dance to the music of 30 licensed songs. Putting players at the center of a nationwide cheerleading competition, We Cheer utilizes two Wii Remotes as virtual pom-poms to create an authentic cheerleading experience. Players must move the wireless Wii Remotes as directed by the on-screen indicators to choreographed routines, utilizing a full range of arm and body movements such as spins and twists. As each routine is successfully performed, the player will be able to recruit new team members to their squad, adding new cheerleading abilities and choreographed routines. We Cheer for the Wii will be available Fall 2008.

NAMCO BANDAI Games America released new screenshots and trailer from Eternal Sonata, this time showcasing the PS3 version scheduled to be available this fall with new quests, new playable characters, new music and more. The game's roster of playable characters expands with the addition of Serenade and Crescendo, and players can now customize the look of members of their party with a variety of new outfits. Players can also enjoy several all-new dungeons, and even experience different endings.

Namco Bandai Games America also released the first trailer and screenshots from Digimon World Championship for the Nintendo DS, a game based on the Digimon Data Squad animated series where you will have to capture and train the strongest Digimon, in order to compete in a legendary tournament. You will be able to experience the thrill of the hunt for over 200 different Digimon, which, once captured, can be trained and assembled into the ultimate squad to compete for the Digimon World Championship. The game is scheduled to be available this August.

Namco Bandai Games America released the first trailer and screenshots from Afro Samurai, a game based on the hit animated series starring and co-produced by Samuel L. Jackson. Afro Samurai is blending modern hip hop and technology with traditional Japanese culture and follows Afro Samurai as he fights to become the number one warrior. The title is currently held by Justice, the man who killed Afro's father when he was a child. The game follows the plot of the original series with added material and background. Afro Samurai will be available this Fall, for PS3 and Xbox 360.

At the Electronic Entertainment Expo, Ubisoft announced the development of NARUTO: The Broken Bond, the sequel to NARUTO: Rise of a Ninja and the second game under the licensing agreement with TV TOKYO Corporation and SHUEISHA Inc. NARUTO: The Broken Bond features Naruto, who has now evolved into a well-respected Ninja, but his new status and abilities trigger the envy of his best friend and Ninja teammate, Sasuke. Majesco Entertainment released the first batch of screenshots from the Wii version of Our House, a game developed by Budcat Creations that turns the Wii Remote into the ultimate creation tool that lets players design, build and decorate their own personalized trophy home they can share with others in an online neighborhood. After shopping for raw materials in the Home Store, players will use their Wii Remote to hammer, saw, paint, tile and much more as they assemble and decorate their family dwelling.
